This post is a running list of celebrity nonfiction author announcements with the most recent at the top of the list. I’m focused on those who have author sites or book pages. Their marketing budget may be bigger than yours but I encourage you to use their strategies as inspiration and apply them to your book marketing. Note that some links may no longer be active if the book page was published strictly for a pre-launch.

Matthew McConaughey – Greenlights (October 2020) https://greenlights.com/
Best known for his many acting roles, McConaughey can now add author to his list of accomplishments. The book is “an album, a record, a story of my life so far. Getting away withs, getting caughts, and getting wets while trying to dance between the raindrops.”
Alicia Garza – The Purpose of Power (October 2020) https://aliciagarza.com/

It is not the story of Black Lives Matter, but it is a story that includes it, that attempts to help make sense of not only where it came from, but also the possibilities that it and movements like it hold for our collective future.”
